<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insolation direction detector which can accurately detect the direction of the sun and the elevation angle of insolation, and to provide a sun tracking system using the same which can accurately track the sun. <P>SOLUTION: The detector 1 comprises a bottom plate 11 whereon photosensors 13A and 13B are arranged and a partition 12 installed upright in the middle of the photosensors 13A and 13B on the surface of the bottom plate. In the partition 12, a photosensor 13C is arranged on the wall which faces the arranged side of the photosensor 13A while a photosensor 13D is arranged on the wall which faces the photosensor 13B-arranged side. Two of such detectors (1A and 1B) are integrally assembled in a part of a solar battery panel 30 so that they can be adjusted for the direction and inclination angle to build up the sun tracking system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
