<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of selectively setting the optimum operating power to a camera module in response to a power supply state of a main body side. <P>SOLUTION: In the mobile information apparatus provided with; the camera module including a plurality of operating modes; and a main body unit for supplying power to the camera module, the main body unit calculates an estimate operation available time on the basis of operating power information and the power supply state received from the camera module, and provides an output of warning when the estimate operation available time reaches a prescribed value or below. When a user enters an instruction of interrupting supply of power to the camera module in response to the warning output, the main body unit transmits a power supply interruption instruction to the camera module. On the other hand, upon the receipt of the power supply interruption instruction from the main body unit, a power supply control means of the camera module interrupts supply of power to the camera module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
