<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel in which a touch error on a touch surface can be prevented, a touch operation with an uniform pressure can be realized without imposing an excessive load on fingers, a cost increase in association with increase in parts count can be suppressed, and generation of a Newton ring on the touch panel can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: In a touch panel 41 provided with an upper transparent substrate 46 and an lower transparent substrate 44 on which an X-axis electrode pattern comprising an X-axis electrode pair 49a and 49b and wiring electrodes 49c and 49d, and a Y-axis electrode pattern comprising a Y-axis electrode pair 48a and 48b and wiring electrodes 48c and 48d are formed respectively, and an outer peripheral sealing part 50 comprising a pair of X-axis direction sealing parts 50a and 50b and a pair of Y-axis direction sealing parts 50c and 50d for holding the upper and lower transparent substrates with a prescribed gap; the X-axis electrode pattern and a Y-axis electrode pattern are formed at same distance with thickness from the outer peripheral sealing part 50 to near the inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
