<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical position detection device capable of preventing, in advance, malfunctions caused by dirt of optical recurrence reflector, and to provide a recording medium which records the function program. <P>SOLUTION: When received light signal level becomes lower than the contamination detection level, the contamination on the optical recurrence reflector 4 is detected and the position is calculated. A message, "clean the optical recurrence reflector" is displayed on a display screen 21 together with its position information to inform the users. The contamination of the optical recurrence reflector 4 is notified to the users and the optical recurrence reflector 4 is cleaned immediately so that the malfunctions caused by the dirt can be prevented, in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
