PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a renewed original mold from causing roughening on its surface, and to reduce the cost of a molding mold. SOLUTION: This molding mold comprises a base material 23 formed into a prescribed shape, an etching-resistant layer 31 covering the leading edge face s4 of the base material 23, a thin film layer 32 covering the etching-resistant layer 31 and removable with an etching liquid, and a mold releasing film 33 covering the thin film layer 32. In this case, when the thin film layer 32 and the mold releasing film 33 are removed by the etching liquid, the base material 23 remains in a state as covered by the etching-resistant layer 31. Thereby the renewed original mold is prevented from causing roughening on its surface because ion beam irradiation is not necessary to remove the thin film layer 32 and the mold releasing film 33, and also because the etching-resistant layer 31 does not react with the etching liquid.
