PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply line communication system and a communication apparatus in which signals can be transmitted/received without changing a communication apparatus which does not transmit/receive signals through a power supply line. SOLUTION: One end of an inductance element 30 is connected to a grounding side power supply line 22 and the other end of the inductance element 30 is connected to a grounding wire in an output circuit for outputting a signal to a modulation part 33, an amplifier part 35 and so on. A signal outputted from a node between the emitter of a transistor 352 and a resistor 353 in the amplification part 35 for amplifying a signal modulated by the modulation part 33 is transmitted to another communication apparatus by the inductance element 30 through the grounding side power supply line 22 without flowing into the grounding wire in the output circuit.
