PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize cooking at 800 W output, using a magnetron for 700 W output and a cooling mechanism. SOLUTION: A cooking chamber, a magnetron 8 and a power-down means 7 are provided. The power-down means 7 lowers the radio wave output wattage, when the time determined by a radio wave output accumulation time and a radio wave quiescent accumulation time has elapsed.
