PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test result analyzing method of a magnetic disk in which presence or absence of distribution correlation between recording surfaces of glide height errors can be determined. SOLUTION: The analyzing method includes an error mapping step 103 in which individual glide height error is mapped onto the coordinate system set within a two-dimensional plane including each recording surface, a correlation evaluating value computing step 104 in which correlation evaluating values corresponding to the correlation of the distribution of glide height errors between recording surfaces are computed from the coordinate values of individual glide height errors, an expected value computing step 105 which computes the expected values of the correlation evaluating values corresponding to the number of generation of the glide height errors of each recording surface and correlation presence and absence determining steps 106 to 108 which determine the presence or the absence of the distribution correlation of glide height errors between the recording surfaces by comparing the computed correlation evaluating values with the expected values.
