PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a reproducing speed and an operation object employing a smaller number of operation keys. SOLUTION: When a reproducing process is conducted, a digital video camera 1 displays an indicator image formed by reproducing speed images corresponding to a plurality of reproducing speeds and an arrow image that indicates the reproducing speed image corresponding to a present reproducing speed on a monitor 4. When left and right operation keys 5b and 5c are operated during a reproducing operation, selection of the reproducing speed image and the location of the arrow image are changed in accordance with the time being operated and the reproducing speed is also changed. When a plurality of data is simultaneously reproduced, by double clicking the left and the right operation keys 5b and 5c, the operation object is switched from the data of the present operation data to other data and the display formats of the indicator image and the arrow image are changed in accordance with the operation object.
