IGNITION DEVICE FOR GAS ENGINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device for a spark ignition type gas engine improving fuel consumption rate while avoiding knocking of the engine. SOLUTION: In the gas engine constructed to supply mixture gas formed by injecting gas fuel into an air intake passage from a gas injection device connected to a gas fuel supply passage to a combustion chamber and to ignite and burn the mixture gas by performing spark discharge in the mixture gas by a main ignition plug provided at a center section of the combustion chamber, a second ignition plug (sub ignition plug) is provided at a position at an outer circumference part of the combustion chamber where flame propagation by the main ignition plug is delayed and an ignition device controller controlling ignition timing of the two ignition plugs to delay ignition timing of the second ignition plug than ignition timing of the main ignition plug.
