PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm capable of reducing reaction force generated in elastic deformation. SOLUTION: This linear solenoid valve 2 is composed of a solenoid portion 10 having a plunger 11 driven by a coil assembly 17, and a valve portion 20 having a spool 21 pressed by the plunger 11 to be moved and controlled. An outer peripheral portion 1a of this diaphragm 1 is mounted on a yoke 13 and its inner peripheral portion 1c is mounted on the spool 21 to isolate a solenoid portion 10. and a film portion 1b is elastically deformed in accompany with the movement of the spool 21. An outside diameter-side circular projecting portion 1d formed into the projecting shape having a comparatively large curvature r1 toward the moving direction of the spool 21 is formed on an outside diameter side of the film portion 1b, and an inside-diameter side circular projecting portion 1e formed into the projecting shape of comparatively small curvature r2 toward the direction opposite to the outside diameter-side circular projecting portion 1d, is formed on an inside diameter side of the film portion 1b to form the waved film portion 1b.
