PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which arranges long and thin woody material pieces mixed with a bonding agent mostly in a length direction, and can laminate the woody material pieces into a mat having a heavy thickness smoothly on a transfer stand. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: an orientation means 3 for wooden material pieces which accumulates the woody material pieces adhered or mixed with a bonding agent while arranging them mostly in a length direction; and a transfer means 6 for a laminated mat consisting of the above woody material pieces laminated, wherein the above orientation means has: a number of plates 31, 32 and the others vertically arranged in parallel so that they are located in right above the transfer means of the above laminated mat and are approximately parallel with the transfer direction; and a vibrator mechanism 5 which vibrates these plates toward the slanting upper part of the transfer direction of the mat by the above transfer means, and a pimple 30 which kicks up the woody material pieces with the above vibration is formed on the surface of each plate which touches the wooden material pieces.
