PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed capable of slowing a bring-down speed in a nearly horizontal state while securing the maximum inclination angle of a back part support frame by the elevating and lowering mechanism of simple constitution. SOLUTION: A slide frame 4 is provided so as to be freely moved to the front and back inside a base frame 3 fixed to a bed frame, the lower end part of a rear side link 126 is attached to the base frame 3 in a turnable state, and the intermediate part of a front side link 127 is attached to the slide frame 4 in a turnable state. The intermediate part of the rear side link 126 and the lower end part of the front side link 127 are connected by a connection link 128, the upper end part of the rear side link 126 is freely slidably attached to the intermediate part of the back part support frame 9, and the front side link 127 is turnably supported at the front end part of the back part support frame 9. The elevating and lowering mechanism composed by fixing a cam member 123 is provided on the back surface of the back part support frame 9, and when the back part support frame 9 is brought down, the cam member 123 abuts on the rear side link 126.
