PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharged straw-treating device disposed in the rear portion of a combine harvester, in which a cover disposed on a discharged straw-discharging port is automatically opened to increase a deposit-acceptable capacity, thus preventing the clogging of a discharged straw-cutting device portion, when the discharged straws are increased to deposit in the cover in a more amount than a prescribed amount. SOLUTION: This discharged straw-treating device of the combine harvester is characterized by disposing a cutter device 30 as a discharged straw-treating device 11 in the machine body rear portion of the combine harvester 1, laterally rotatably pivotally supporting the upper portion or portions of one or two discharged straw guide plates 55 on one side or both the sides of the discharged straw-discharging port 57 below the cutter device 30, interposing an elastic member 56 between the upper machine portion side of the above pivotally supporting portion 59 and the middle portion of the discharged straw guide plate 55, and thereby energizing the discharged straw guide plate 55 to tilt on the inside or outside.
