<p>A portable terminal such as a portable telephone provided with an LED display panel arranged with a plurality of light emitting diodes in matrix on the surface of a casing in which a ringing melody is sounded from a speaker when a call is received at the portable telephone and the reception of call is displayed on the LED display panel. A high luminance display is attained by the light emitting diode. When a control signal corresponding to the ringing melody is supplied to a control microcomputer for controlling the LED display panel, the control microcomputer can perform display control of an image to be displayed on the LED display panel while interlocking with the ringing melody.</p> |
