A write correction circuit (100) has at its input stage a pulse correction circuit (11) for outputting a pulse correction signal (s11) having a corrected waveform of a write pulse signal by removing a pattern having a length other than a range predetermined as a pattern length of the write pulse signal contained in the write pulse signal (s1). The pulse correction signal (s11) corrected by the pulse correction circuit (11) is subjected to write correction. Thus, it is possible to realize a highly accurate write correction for the write pulse signal (s1) inputted to the write correction circuit (100).
