PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intelligibly indicate to a user whether service provided by collaboration between an image processing apparatus and a computer can be provided or not.

SOLUTION: AN image forming apparatus includes; a table wherein collaboration service function information 70 showing functions necessary for providing collaboration service, out of functions provided in the computer is stored per collaboration service; a computer condition check part 161 for checking the functions of the computer which are available at present; a provision possibility/impossibility determination part 163 for determining whether respective collaboration services can be provided at present or not on the basis of the collaboration service function information 70 and a check result; and a picture display processing part 12 for displaying the discrimination information of collaboration services determined to be provided at present.
