<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead time correction device capable of highly precisely conducting optimum dead time correction in an inverter circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This dead time correction device is equipped with an inverter section 1 having a first switching element 12, a second switching element 13, and a coil element 11; and a signal generating device which generates a first control signal for driving the first switching element 12, and a second control signal obtained by inverting the first control signal for driving the second switching element 13, with a dead time provided between both the signals. Further, the device includes a detector 3 for detecting a voltage of the inverter, and outputting a detection signal corresponding to the detected voltage and a corrector 2 for compensating for the dead time in accordance with the detection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
