PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce increase in the voltage applied to a switching element when the current of the switching element is interrupted in power conversion equipment that carries out conversion between direct-current voltage and alternating-current voltage.
SOLUTION: A power inverter circuit includes: voltage controlled switching elements; control voltage generation units that supply voltage for turning on the elements and voltage for turning off the elements in chronological order; and inductors that are connected with the low potential-side terminals of the voltage controlled switching elements to form part of arms and satisfy Le≥Ls(Vth-Vgmin)/(Vrate-Vcc) where, Vth is the threshold voltage of the voltage controlled switching elements; Vgmin is the voltage for turn-off supplied by the control voltage generation units; Vrate is the rated withstand voltage of the voltage controlled switching elements; Vcc is the voltage applied to between the high voltage-side terminals and low voltage-side terminals of the voltage controlled switching elements when they are turned off in steady state; and Ls is the specification of a parasitic inductance seen outside the high voltage-side terminals of the voltage controlled switching elements.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
