<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation confirming method and an apparatus thereof capable of confirming the operation of a device housed in an apparatus with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The operation confirming method inspects the device housed inside the apparatus together with a memory. The method includes a step of transferring an operation confirming program to the device, a step of causing the device to execute the operation confirming program, a step of reading data from a predetermined region of the memory after the device executes the operation confirming program, a step of determining whether or not the data read from the predetermined region of the memory is the data written on the basis of a normal operation of the device, and a step of notifying a result of determination as to whether or not the device normally operates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
