<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing ink composition having an oxygen absorption capacity not only having the oxygen absorption capacity but also utilizable as a printing ink for imparting color developing properties (contrast) or hiding properties as ink for printing and utilizable as the printing ink imparting the oxygen absorption capacity, easily imparting the oxygen absorption capacity to a package for packaging contents to be cooked in a microwave oven according to a printing method without trouble of generation of sparks and readily producing the oxygen absorbing package distinguishing a metal as a foreign material from an oxygen absorbent with a metal detector. <P>SOLUTION: The printing ink composition comprises a pigment which is an inorganic oxide having the oxygen absorption capacity and a resin which is a thermoplastic resin in the printing ink consisting essentially of the resin, the pigment and an organic solvent. In the printing ink, the pigment is the inorganic oxide having the oxygen absorption capacity and the pigment is compounded in an amount of 1-300 pts. wt. based on 100 pts. wt. of the resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
