<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outside mirror device for a vehicle for surely securing visibility of a sub-mirror during the night to contribute to traffic safety. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with lighting means 5, 500 and 501 for lighting a lower visually confirmable range of the sub-mirror 42.
