PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print model visible outlines lines, model ridgelines, dimensions and annotation information, which are all prepared by using a 3DCAD, at a high speed while keeping visibility which can recognize differences among them when they are printed. SOLUTION: In order to make a display device display three-dimensional CAD information having at least diagrammatic information groups of model external shape lines and/or model ridgelines and bibliographic information groups of dimensions and/or annotation information, arithmetical processing is carried out to bit-map data to obtain dot sequence information, and the obtained dot sequence information is referred to in units of dot groups for each kind of dot sequence information based on the diagrammatic information groups and the bibliographic information groups. When dots having desired color data exist in a prescribed sequence unit, all the dot groups existing in the prescribed sequence are converted to prescribed color data to generate data for printing.
