PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing the stone drilling resistance while ensuring the snow traction property. SOLUTION: Projection parts 30 which are lower than a block part 15 and separate from the block part 15 are intermittently provided in a groove part 20. The projection part 30 comprises a projection body part 31 having a top part 32 and an inclined part 35 having a slope 36 in which the angleθfrom a groove bottom 24 is formed in a range of 3-60°. The inclined part 35 is formed at the position in two directions opposite to each other at least along the groove part 20. A stone caught by the groove part 20 is moved to the top part 32 along the slope 36, and discharged from the groove part 20. Since the projection parts 30 are separate from the block part 15 and provided intermittently, the volume of the groove part 20 is ensured.
