PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope where extending of a curved rubber and generation of a hole are prevented when the endoscope is used, when it is washed or sterilized, and even when a shock is loaded to an insertion part. SOLUTION: The endoscope is provided with a long and narrow insertion part 12 and an operation part provided at the distal end part of the insertion part. The insertion part is provided with: a rigid distal end part 46 provided at the distal end part of the insertion part; a flexible part 50 which is provided at the proximal end part of the insertion part and connected with the operation part; and a curved part 48 having a plurality of curved pieces 66 provided side by side along the axial direction of the insertion part between the rigid distal end part 46 and the flexible part 50 and rotated with respect to an adjacent one in order by operation by the operation part, the curved rubber 82 with which the outsides of the curved pieces are covered, and pressurizing and fixing members 84a and 84b for fixing both of the end parts of the curved rubbers.
