PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic circuit structure of a rotary electric machine that reduces motor iron loss and cogging torque under no load. SOLUTION: In the magnetic circuit structure of the rotary electric machine that comprises a rotor including a plurality of permanent magnets whose polarities are alternately changed along its rotating direction, and a stator on which armature coils are wound and that is arranged, in such a way as to have an air gap between the rotor and itself, permanent magnet flux which does not interlink with the air gap g or the armature coils 14 is made larger than the permanent magnet flux which interlinks with the air gap g and the armature coils 14 in an unloaded state.
