PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen take-up device for a projection screen or the like whose structure is simple so that assembly and disassembly are easily performed, by which the draw-out length of a screen is finely adjusted and which realizes the reduction of the number of operating actions in releasing lock. SOLUTION: A lock drum is rotatably attached to a supporting shaft fixedly arranged. Locking projections having an inclined surface and a locking step part ranging to the declining side end of the inclined surface are provided on an edge side with respect to the rotation in the draw-out direction of the lock drum at opposed positions putting a shaft center in between on the inner peripheral surface of the lock drum. Then, a movable barrel which can not rotate but can move in a shaft direction and springs holding the movable barrel at a neutral position are attached to the part of the supporting shaft positioned in the lock drum, and rotary lock blades which move the locking projections in the shaft direction by the contact of the turning locking projections and with which the locking step parts of the locking projections are engaged by turning in a take-up direction are provided at positions on both sides on the outer periphery of the movable barrel.
