PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which can be equipped with a large display device without spoiling operability. SOLUTION: The digital camera 1 has, on the back of a camera body 2, an operation part 10 equipped with main operation members 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 and a slide part 9 equipped with a main display device 8. The slide part 9 slides, on the camera body 2, between a housing position where the operation part 10 is hidden under the slide part 9 and a photographing position where the operation part 10 is exposed and a part of the slide part 9 projects from the camera body 2.
