PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device wherein the amount of up-and-down motion of an endless roller chain or an endless bush chain due to polygonal motion is reduced to allow a roller or a bush to smoothly disengage from a sprocket, pulsation and speed variation of the chains due to the polygonal motion are suppressed to stably convey conveying objects, and to improve efficiency in working with the objects for conveyance and ride comfort. SOLUTION: In a slat conveyor 1 equipped with a conveying means constructed with a pair of endless conveyor chains separately wrapped around between a pair of driving side sprockets 11 and a pair of driven side sprockets 11', the roller chain 61 is used for the endless conveyor chain, and the tooth profile of each of the driving side and driven side sprockets 11, 11' has a part where the distances from the center line x of a tooth 15 to a tooth plane 12a on the front side in the rotating direction and to a tooth plane 12b on the back side in the rotating direction for each of the sprockets 11, 11' are greater than the distance pt on the pitch circle pc, in the area on the tooth top side of the pitch circle pc.
