PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scribing apparatus which forms a scribe line excellent in straightness on a curved surface of a work member accurately. SOLUTION: The scribing apparatus comprises: a main plate on which a cutter section 20, an oscillation excitation section 10, a height adjustment means 40 and a prepressing means 50 are sequentially disposed and fixed with aligning the center axes thereof in a straight line; and a vertical movement section 70 connected with the main plate 60 for driving the main plate 60 vertically.
