An adhesive composition comprises (a) 35- 80 parts by wt. of polyepoxide, (b) 64-10 parts of polyvinyl acetal resin, (c) 1-10 parts of a rubber copolymer of butadiene 1,3 or its substituted derivative and an α-methylene nitrile (per 100 parts by wt. of the above three constituents) and (d) 1-15 parts of polyepoxide hardener. In examples the adhesive comprised (a) a liquid polyepoxide prepared from epichlorohydrin and 2,2-bis-(4-hydroxyphenyl)- propane and/or a liquid polyepoxide of formula (b) polyvinyl formal and/or butyral, (c) a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile and (d) dioyandiamide or 2-ethyl-4-methyl imidazole. |
