摘要 1,246,050. Gas burners. W. DREIZLER. 20 May, 1969 [22 May, 1968], No. 25743/69. Heading F4T. An atmospheric gas burner comprises a housing 1 composed of three members la, 1b, 1c nestingly secured to one another, the members defining first, second and third chambers A, B1(B2), C respectively, chamber A being connected with chamber B1(B2) by apertures 10a (10b and with chamber C by apertures 8, chambers C and B1(B2) being connected to the atmosphere by apertures 9 and 11a(11b) respectively, the chambers being so arranged that during operation of the burner gas-air mixture flows to the atmosphere through chambers A and B1(B2), and through chambers A and C. The apertures are so dimensioned that if F1, F2, F3a(F3b) and F4a(F4b) are the sum totals of the cross-sectional areas of respectively the apertures 8, 9, 10a(10b) and 11a(11b), the the following relationships hold: F1 : F2 is in the range from 1À3 : 1 to 1 : 1 F3a(F3b): F1 = 1 : 7 F3a(F3b): F4a(F4b) = 1 : 4. As shown, the height and width of the substantially inverted U-shaped bulge 14 that defines the chamber C are not more than 0À3 times the corresponding dimensions of the outer crosssection of the burner. The apertures 9 are in the form of slits arranged in spaced apart groups, the spacing between corresponding slits in two neighbouring groups being from 15 to 20 mm., while the spacing between two neighbouring slits in a group is from 1À5 to 3 mm. Gas-air mixture is introduced into one end of the chamber A through a mixing chamber downstream of which is located, first, a curved baffle plate and then a guide plate extending in a curved path to the remote end wall of the chamber A so as to progressively lessen the height of this chamber.
