Cold-hardened aluminum alloy contains (in wt.%) not more than 0.7 silicon, 0.1-1 magnesium, not more than 0.3 iron, 0.08-0.2 copper, not more than 0.2 titanium, not more than 0.1 manganese, not more than 0.1 chromium, not more than 0.1 zinc, maximum 0.1 unavoidable impurities, and a balance of aluminum. An independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a cold-hardened aluminum alloy. |
