The portable road sign is designed to be supported by a traffic cone 3 and comprises the body of the sign 1 to which brackets 2,5 are attached, the brackets being sized so that they can pass over the top of a traffic cone. The brackets are hinged so that they can be folded flat against the sign when not in use and the brackets may include locking elements designed to engage apertures in a cone. The brackets may allow the sign to be orientated vertically or at an angle when in use and larger signs may be designed to use two or more cones. |
