PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical lithium secondary battery with high voltage and high capacity by increasing close adhesion between the tab and the terminal to reduce contact resistance when a positive electrode current collector tab extended from a positive electrode is fixed to a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode current collector tab extended from a negative electrode is fixed to a negative electrode terminal. SOLUTION: An electrode body 14 formed by spirally winding a positive electrode containing a lithium composite oxide and a negative electrode containing a carbon material through a separator impregnated with a nonaqueous electrolyte is housed into a cylindrical battery can 15, and a positive electrode current collector tab 11a extended from the positive electrode is fixed to a positive electrode terminal 16a, and a negative electrode current collector tab 12a extended from the negative electrode is fixed to a negative electrode terminal 17a to constitute a cylindrical lithium secondary battery. In this battery, a gold thin film is formed on the surface of at least one of the positive electrode current collector tab 11a and the negative electrode current collector tab 12a. |
