A first mounting profile is provided on the frame and a second mounting profile is provided on one of the lateral guide profiles (4a, 4b) for the window covering. The second mounting profile is pushed or hooked into the first mounting profile. The second profile engages with a preferably U-shaped protrusion extending the length of the first profile. The lateral guide profiles are mounted on the vertical members of the frame and used to guide the lateral edges of the shutters, blind, screen etc. A trough (3) for housing the shutters etc. is mounted on the top side of the frame.
