PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a weather forecast for a certain point on the screen of a display, together with a map involving that point. SOLUTION: In a navigation system 1 which displays a route to a destination as well as a map around the position of the vehicle on which it is mounted, a predetermined point and time are input, and a weather forecast for the point/ time inputted is retrieved and displayed on the screen of a display 2, together with a map involving a mark DMK showing that point. In this case, a graphic image showing the distribution CL of rain clouds is superimposed on the map to display the weather forecast. |
