The plug has a flexible sealing ring mounted in a watertight manner around an end of a cylindrical hollow body (2) that is introduced in an orifice (26). The ring has two sealing lips (10, 11) designed to assure sealing with a rigid box (24) and an isolating material (25), respectively. A sealing shutter (12) provided with a lump is supported against a downstream peripheral edge of an inner water evacuation opening of the body. An independent claim is also included for a header tank for a motor vehicle provided with an isolating plug.
