The catheter has a catheter wall (2), which defines one of lumens (6, 6), and a reinforcement provided in an axial and peripheral direction (A, P) in the catheter wall. The reinforcement is provided for stabilization of the catheter in torsional and/or buckling strength. The reinforcement is designed as a profile unit (5), which is adjusted to desired mechanical properties of the catheter in the axial and peripheral direction. |
