<p>The folding soft top roof for a motor car is composed of a roof frame over which a covering is stretched. The frame has a fr large surface roof section adjacent to the windscreen frame, a main strut and a rear-side tension stirrup. On the side of the co frame (2) facing the passenger space (10) an inner ceiling (14) is provided, which has a central part (15), to the long sides of which side parts (16) are connected. The central part is releasably fixed to the large-surfaced rigid roof section (5) and to the main strut (11). The lower edg areas of both side parts are releasably held in position on the tension stirrup (12) and on the roof layers (8).</p> |
