A fastener tab assembly for an undergarment, comprising a tab formed from a generally trapezoidal piece of material in which opposite edges thereof are folded inwardly and joined together so as to present unseamed enclosed sides, hence tending to avoid irritation when in contact with the body of a wearer. A piece of filamentary fastener material on a surface of the tab is adapted to couple with a complementary piece of filamentary fastener material on the undergarment.
