The plastic material is pressed on inserted sheet metal cages and rollers or balls so that the cages and rolling elements form a centered bearing. - Adhesive strip is used for preventing the flow of plastic into bearing region. The bearing formed allows rotation but forma axial and lateral constraint. This method of manufacture eliminates the use of conventional bearings. The projecting parts of the cage inserts can be used as sealing features for the bearing.
