The method involves rendering an individual image by rendering monochromatic sub-images in temporal succession. A sub-image sequence obtained by temporal sequencing of sub-images is generated in motion-compensated fashion. A motion-compensated sequence having an image frequency higher than that of the sequence to be rendered is generated and filtered to obtain three monochromatic sub-image sequences.
