<p>The interface plate (1) is made from a cast metal profile and designed to be fixed to the upper surface of a ski to receive the toe stop and heel clamp of a boot safety fastening. It has a lengthwise channel forming a slideway with raised and in-turned edges (10, 11, 12, 13) to receive projections on the undersides of the toe stop and heel clamp, enabling them to be adjusted and fixed in the required position for the boot size. The under surface of the plate is for the most part in contact with the ski, and it can act as a platform to raise the toe stop and heel clamp several millimetres above the ski surface.</p> |
