A hydraulically operated friction joint (1, 1') comprises an outer sleeve (2) designed to be inserted into a basically cylindrical recess (C); an inner sleeve (8) arranged in the outer sleeve (2) and designed to receive a basically cylindrical body (V); a pressure gap (9) formed between the inner sleeve (8) and the outer sleeve (2) and containing a pressure medium, which is designed when pressurised to produce a change in the radial shape of the inner sleeve (8), so that a pressure is produced between the inner sleeve (8) and the cylindrical body (V); and a piston (10) which through a fluid connection with the pressure gap (9) is designed to produce said pressurisation of the pressure gap (9). Elements (102, 103, 108) for adjusting the quantity of pressure medium are integrated into the piston (10). Embodiments in the form of a tool adapter and a hub-shaft connection are demonstrated. |
