<p>Method for cpds. (I) R1 and R2=(1-7C) alkyl R3 and R4=H, hal, or CF3, n=2-5. Tranquillizers, muscle relaxants, anti-convulsants, and hypnotics. a) Et2NH (17.7 g) were added to 2-bromo-4'-chloro-2'-(2-fluorobenzoyl)-acetanilide (75 g) in CH2Cl2 (325 ml), stirred overnight, Et2NH (17.7 g) added, stirred 2.5 hr., washed with H2O (500 ml) and brine (200 ml), decolourised and dried, and evapd. The residue in PhH (150 ml) was filtered through Florisil (400 g), eluted with PhH and Et2O, the Et2O evapd. and recrystd. from Et2O-pet. spirit, giving the 2-diethylamino deriv. m.p 48-49 deg.C.</p> |
