<p>The procedure uses a shaping wheel (2) with a series of U-shaped recesses (21) corresponding to the shape of corrugations to be made in a plastic edging strip. The strip is blocked relative to the wheel by pneumatic pressure elements (4, 6, 7, 8) and corrugated by a descending thermoforming head (5) heated by induction or circulating hot water.
