<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of metadata capable of performing a changeover of operations at the time of object designation, depending on the kind of an input interface used for input and an input operation method. <P>SOLUTION: Metadata related to a dynamic image have the data structure of a stream to be composed by containing one or more access units being units of data processable independently. Each access unit has first data for specifying a validity period to be defined with respect to the time-axis of the dynamic image, object region data which describe a space-time region in the dynamic image, a plurality of second data for specifying processing to be performed when the space-time region is designated, and third data for associating each piece of the second data with an operation method or the kind of an input interface for a user to designate the object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
