<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily input net sales data into an existing POS register device. <P>SOLUTION: A sales support method for a retail store is equipped with a virtual store 2 of the retail store 3 established on a web server 1 for permitting access through the Internet 6; a retail store terminal 5 installed in the retail store 3 for permitting connection to the web server 1 through the Internet 6; and a POS register device 22 installed in the retail store 3 for conducting earning sales management. In the method, when a desired commodity is purchased from a customer terminal 41 by connecting it to the virtual store 2, to an order form data to be transmitted from the web server 1 to the retail store terminal 5, bar code data including customer data and bar code data including the name of the commodity ordered through the Internet are attached directly or indirectly via a link, and a bar code image including the customer data and a bar code image including the commodity name data displayed on a screen of a display unit 23 of the retail store terminal 5 are read with a bar code reader 25 and inputted into the POS register device 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
