<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize two winding performances of quick belt winding and belt winding with high torque while reducing power consumption of a motor and facilitating control of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: A clutch gear 43 is engaged with a carrier gear 31 by normal rotation in a belt winding direction of the motor in such a state that a clutch pawl 49 is not engaged with an internal gear 30. Thereby, a low reduction ratio power transmission mode is set and the seat belt is wound at high speed and low torque. When slack of the seat belt is lost and belt load is raised, the clutch pawl 49 can be engaged with the internal gear 30. Further, when a motor current is raised and exceeds a set value, the motor is reversely rotated and the clutch gear 43 is separated from the carrier gear 31. Thereby, a high reduction ratio power transmission mode is set and the belt is wound at low speed and high torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
